Are you correctly covered !? Below are a few common misconceptions.

are you renting your static van out ?

make sure your insurer covers you for renting out - usually if it is a member of your family you will have to pay to add them on - if paying guests there is normally NO cover in place.

do you have the minimum security in place ?

all insurers have a minimum security needed - this can be when on your drive at home and changes with the value of your caravan - make sure it is correct or you will not be paid out!

have you over insured your contents ?

do you know what is your contents - in most cases the curtains, carpet, kitchen, table & chairs are covered under the van NOT the contents. Typically it would be TV, bedding maybe table & chairs. laptops and expensive electricals are far better adding on to home contents away from home.
